Analytical Exposition Text

“Imagine waking up one morning and the internet is gone. No Google, no YouTube, no TikTok, no messaging apps. How would your day change?

The internet is like oxygen for our generation—it’s everywhere. We use it to study, to chat, to laugh, to learn, and sometimes… to procrastinate. But here’s the big question:

Is the internet helping us grow, or is it quietly taking control?

“Have you ever had a strong opinion about something—like how much time we spend on our laptop, whether homework is fair, or if the internet is helping or hurting us—but people didn’t take you seriously because you couldn't explain why you felt that way?

Today, you’ll learn how to express your opinion in a powerful way—not by shouting louder, but by building strong arguments. We’re going to explore a type of text called an analytical exposition text, where your opinion matters only if you can back it up with reasons. And by the end of today, you’ll get to write your own persuasive piece—and maybe even change someone’s mind.”
